“Sawblink” 1.5kg Competitive Filipino Combat Robot
My name is Javergel F. Larracas, founder of Blink Dagger Technology and builder of Sawblink, a Filipino-made 1.5 kg combat robot. I actively compete in national combat robotics tournaments, including the Global Robotics Competition, where Sawblink earned 2nd Place in 2024, and the Summer Robot Games, where it placed 3rd. These achievements reflect not only my dedication as a competitor but also my commitment to showcasing the strength of Filipino engineering in the field of combat robotics.

As I continue to improve Sawblink for upcoming events—including the biggest combat robotics tournament in the Philippines IOT Conference RoboRumble 2025, to be held on September 10–11, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City

—one of the greatest challenges I face is sourcing reliable AR600 steel for the weapon blade, forks, and wedge, along with pre-cut Carbon Fiber for the top and bottom plates. These components are vital for both offense and defense, particularly when facing powerful horizontal and vertical spinner opponents. In such matches, durability, toughness, and precision engineering determine the outcome of a match.
Vertical Disk Spinner Weapon - AR600 Steel
Wedges - AR600 Steel
Top Plate - Carbon Fiber
Bottom Plate - Carbon Fiber
Forks - AR600 Steel
Having access to high-quality AR600 steel and pre-cut Carbon Fiber would significantly enhance my ability to test, refine, and optimize Sawblink’s design—making it more competitive and capable of reaching the top tier of performance.
Beyond this project, I am also building a pipeline of innovation through Blink Dagger Technology, which operates as both a startup and a platform to inspire Filipino students and engineers. With PCBWay’s support, I aim not only to increase Sawblink’s competitiveness but also to develop and share efficient design workflows with the local robotics community.

I would be proud to showcase PCBWay’s support on Sawblink through multiple channels, ensuring maximum visibility for PCBWay. This includes placing the logo stickers directly on Sawblink (my robot), highlighting PCBWay during the upcoming RoboRumble 2025 event, and featuring PCBWay in tarpaulins, flyers and event materials under “Sponsored and Powered by: PCBWay” if possible. Beyond competitions, I will actively promote your support on social media through posts, updates, and content creation, while also engaging with fellow competitors and builders to introduce your services to the wider combat robotics and makers community. Your sponsorship would directly contribute to the development of tougher, battle-ready machine and help inspire the next generation of Filipino roboticists.
Thank you very much for considering this request. I would be honored to collaborate with PCBWay and demonstrate that together, we can drive innovation in combat robotics—and do so with Filipino pride.
