eMOTION – Educational Kits for STEAM Learning
Our project, eMOTION, is a student-led educational initiative created to bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning to young students through hands-on, creative projects.
We design and build educational kits that allow children and teenagers to understand real-world scientific principles by building them from scratch. Each kit combines electronics, 3D printing, and mechanical design in a fun and accessible way.
So far, we’ve developed:
A DIY electric motor kit, which helps students learn the basics of electromagnetism.
A solar-powered car kit, used to teach renewable energy and sustainability.
And we are currently developing a remote-controlled airplane kit, which will combine circuit design, 3D-printed structures, and basic radio control principles.
We decided to create eMOTION because we wanted to make technical education more engaging and inclusive, especially for younger students who often don’t have access to tools or labs. Our goal is to inspire curiosity and show that technology can be both educational and exciting.
We use 3D printing for our parts and are starting to design custom PCBs to improve reliability, safety, and learning value. This is why we’d love to collaborate with PCBWay — your support could help us produce better kits and reach more schools and students across Mexico.
(I will attach images and videos of our current prototypes, portfolio and kits in use.)
