RUMblebots
Dear PCBway,
My name is Adrian Rua, and I am writing to you on behalf of Team Rumblebots, the only battle robotics team representing Puerto Rico. We are a team of 35 passionate builders, students, and aspiring engineers preparing to compete in the upcoming National Havoc Robot League (NHRL) season in 2026. Our goal is not only to design and build competitive combat robots but also to represent the ingenuity and talent emerging from Puerto Rico on a national stage.
We are currently seeking sponsorship to help cover the cost of components, materials, specialized tools, and travel expenses. As we work to refine our robot’s mechanical systems, electronics integration, and performance under competition pressure, your support could be a critical part of our success. With your help as a sponsor, we will be able to upgrade our design capabilities, access higher quality materials, and ensure that all team members—regardless of financial background—can fully participate in the experience. Your partnership would not only help us build a stronger robots but also help build stronger opportunities for young engineers in Puerto Rico.
In return, we are excited to offer meaningful brand visibility through logo placement on our robot, team uniforms, and competition pit area, along with mentions on our social media platforms and in event coverage. We also engage with schools and STEM programs locally to promote engineering education, and we would be proud to present your company as a partner in that outreach.
By supporting Rumblebots, you’re not just backing a robot—you’re backing education, creativity, and the next generation of engineers from a region that’s underrepresented in national competitions. We would love to share more about our vision and send you our sponsorship package with additional details. Here are some pictures of the robots that participated in May 2025. These are Achilles, Arsenal and Midas, respectively, each one has been done by the students at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez. Each year we implement engineering skills to make the best out of these robots.
Thank you for considering this opportunity. We look forward to the possibility of working with you and having your support on our journey.
