My name is Lauro Neto, I study electrical engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

I work as researcher in the Laboratory of Power Eletronics of UFRJ. This is my graduation project to receive the title of electrical engineer.

Basically, my project is a converter which I have created from the very beginning to control a BLDC motor from a boat, used for university race competitions. It consists in 3 PCBs that I have designed: the interface board (that connects the DSP I will program to the driver), the driver board (that will drive the converter) and the converter itself (the most important part in the project with a capacity of 7kW).

The converter board can provide 3 phases of 200 Amperes of current each one. Therefore, it will need special care in the manufacturing, like bigger and though routes and a very good heat sink.

The lab where I work has been relying in PCBWay for our PCB projects during many years, because of their quality, speed and the very good price. So, I know I can put all my trust in them to make it real. Thank you PCBWay!
