Fast Line Follower using PID and custom Path Planning
Dear PCBWay Team,
I am currently a 4th-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna-9203, Bangladesh. Since the beginning of my academic journey, I have been actively involved in designing and building robotics projects, particularly autonomous line-following robots.
Over the past few years, I have developed several versions of my Line Following Robot (LFR), each iteration being an improvement over the last. In my latest version, I have transitioned from manually soldered prototype boards to fully customized PCBs and 3D-printed components. The entire chassis was designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, and I’ve adopted professional-level design practices to optimize performance and reliability.
However, I am currently facing financial and technical limitations. In my country, PCB manufacturing and 3D printing services are quite expensive, and the local services often have strict constraints such as limited trace widths and lower material quality. These restrictions hinder my ability to bring my design to its full potential.
As a passionate student and maker, I am reaching out to PCBWay for educational support or a free PCB coupon, which would greatly assist me in building and testing this upgraded version of my robot. With your support, I am confident I can make significant progress and possibly contribute back to the community by sharing my project, designs, and insights through online platforms.
To provide more context, I have attached:
I would be truly grateful for any form of assistance PCBWay can offer. Thank you for considering my application.
