We would like to apply for sponsorship for our latest project. I work at KU Leuven which is the largest university of Belgium. For our “day of science” we would like to give a solder workshop to 12-14 year olds. In that way we hope we can inspire them to choose some scientific engineering course. We are aiming on 200 participants (so an order of 200 pcb’s).

We have developed a Christmas tree pcb for this learn-to-solder workshop. The pcb is 80x100mm. It features an ATMEGA368p, which coincidentally makes it a full featured programmable Arduino. In total there are 12 red/green LED’s which are controlled by the ATMEGA328p. We plan to give the Christmas trees away for free and release everything in open source. (It is also based on another open source project) Attached is a picture of the prototype Christmas tree.

I hope PCBWay can sponsor this project. We ordered some pcb’s with pcbway and were always satisfied with the results. We will be giving these Christmas trees away for free, so the budget is limited. Thanks in advance.
