Dear PCBWay Team,
We hope this message finds you well.
We are Team Whoot Whoot, a student-led robotics team from Diponegoro University, Indonesia, focusing on Sumo Robotics. With years of hands-on experience and a strong background in competitive robotics, we are currently preparing to compete at an international level, aiming to showcase Indonesian innovation on the world stage.
As part of our development process, we have designed a custom PCB integrating the We are currently developing a motor driver schematic using the BTN9990LV, the latest and most powerful series from Infineon. This component is capable of delivering pulse currents up to 75 amps, making it highly suitable for high-powered motor applications. Despite its robust capabilities, the BTN9990LV operates efficiently at low voltage levels, offering both performance and energy efficiency. While this chip remains relatively underutilized in the maker and robotics community, its potential is significant and ideal for precision control in demanding use cases, combined with a 12V battery system and ESP32-based system. This integration allows us to create a compact and optimized layout, capable of delivering high and stable voltage and current—crucial for the demands of Sumo Robotics competitions.
Our schematic and board design have been carefully developed based on technical research, electrical calculations, and years of field experience, including continuous improvisation based on the challenges and feedback from each competition we’ve joined. We aim to push the boundaries of design efficiency and performance.
In our previous builds, we’ve relied on PCBWay’s excellent PCB quality, and we have always been impressed by the precision and consistency of your services. Your support has enabled us to create high-performance hardware despite operating as a student team with limited resources.
For our upcoming competition, we would be honored to receive sponsorship support from PCBWay to help us manufacture this new PCB. In return, we are ready to proudly showcase PCBWay as a key partner—featuring your logo on our robot, uniforms, promotional materials, and online platforms.
Attached is a brief overview of our PCB design and project proposal. We would be happy to provide more details or answer any questions.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. We hope to build a strong and impactful partnership with PCBWay.
Warm regards,
Team Whoot Whoot
